About Yellowcake

It may be “just cake” to some people…

but we see the cake and desserts as a reflection of you. It's another way to add a personal touch to your wedding day/celebration and show everyone who you are as a couple/individual. And of course, your cake and desserts should taste just as good as they look! To ensure that, we not only have a consultation in the beginning, but also check in with you during the time you're booked with us, and then have a final consultation a month before your event.

Getting every detail right and accounting for any changes are paramount to a job well done. We also know that our success is in part due to the collaboration of an amazing team of professionals, thoughtful family and friends, and of course, YOU. While you may have found us, you may still be in need of other vendors, or resources; and we want to help you in any way we can so your event day is the best day.

Our Founder

We’re just here to have a good time, and that honestly sums up our style. We’re fun-loving, sunshine-chasing lovers of good food. We actually plan our vacations around all the food we want to experience and sporting events, because how else do you vacation? I (Lasondra) am the super creative former preschool teacher of 13 years who has more ideas than I can contain. Jon (my husband) has experience in sales and management, having worked for the same company for over 10 years. And all of that is what we bring to our cake and dessert experience.

Good time? We’re friendly and all smiles; we might even tell a joke or funny story. Delicious desserts? Of course. Attention to detail? Check. Jon will make sure the logistics of the vision work. Our experience means that we come prepared, we think quickly on our feet, and we’ll probably bob our heads and sing to the background music playing before your guests arrive. We can’t wait to work with you and add a special touch to your event!
